William E. "Bill" Groves
Chief Executive Officer
As founder and CEO of the company, Bill’s vision has allowed us to grow from a small family owned business to one of the regional leaders in the industry. Since 1972 his leadership continues to make its mark on the company.
Robert began as a groundman in 1976 and has worked his way up to vice president. In addition to being a corporate officer, he is responsible for supervising all field operations. Robert stays in direct contact with clients and ensures that services are of the highest quality. It is through this liaison capacity that he has developed working relationships with clients that have become the strength of our business.
Vice President of Operations
Andy has managed the powerline division of our company since 1991. He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Through his ability to design, engineer and manage large powerline and transmission projects, Groves construction has become one of the leaders in the industry.
Accounts Receivables and Payables
Stacy is essential in our accounting department. She is responsible for all the payables and receivables for Groves construction. Stacy is also responsible for accounts receivables for ETI.
As one of the corporate officers, Janet’s ten years of experience plays a vital role in the accounting department. Her responsibilities include quarterly and payroll taxes and general ledger accounting. Janet also takes care of all payables, quarterly and payroll taxes and general ledger for our sister company, ETI.
Jeff Groves, E.E.
Jeff began his career at Groves Construction in 1973 as a groundman. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Evansville in 1991. As president, he is responsible for the overall operation. His work ethic and common sense approach to running a company will lead Groves Construction into the future.
Danny started his employment at Groves Construction in 1977 as a groundman and progressed to a supervisor and now is a vice president. He is responsible for supervising all field operations. Danny coordinates and schedules daily jobs and monitors job cost and quality. His hard work and dedication over the years is an example by which other employees can emulate.
Jack leads our Industrial Controls Division with over 20 years of industrial and utility process control experience and training. His knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, controls networking, and instrumentation backed by the resources of the Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric System Integrator programs, provides our customers with quality, reliable, easily maintained controls solutions custom designed to fit their needs.
Jason supervises a large electrical crew and install security camera systems.
Alan Martin, E.E.T.
Safety & Environmental Coordinator
Maintaining a safe working environment for over 130 employees in an industry, which is inherently dangerous, is a challenge that Alan meets daily. Alan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Murray State University in 1997. Through his instruction of safe work practices and providing the necessary personal protective equipment, our safety record is exemplary.
