Because of the diversity of the many divisions at Groves, we can offer a turnkey solution to your controls needs complete with a fully designed and implemented control system, on-site operator and maintenance training, installation materials and field installation/supervision.

Services

Groves Construction is an Authorized System Integrator for Allen-Bradley hardware and Rockwell Software. Also, we are an experienced Authorized System Integrator for Schneider Electric.

PLC Programming

The Industrial Controls Division at Groves Construction has vast experience with Allen-Bradley and Modicon programmable logic controllers as well as other major brands such as GE. We provide fully documented, organized, consistent PLC logic development to allow easier logic understanding by maintenance personnel. Faster troubleshooting means less downtime and higher productivity. We have the additional resources of affiliation with Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric System Integrator Programs to solve any problems.

HMI/SCADA Development

The operator interface is the key to making your control system user friendly, functional, and efficient. We listen to the needs and requirements of the operation personnel and design the HMI to help them perform their job. We provide stand-alone interface systems with keypad or touch screen interface such as PanelView and PanelView Plus from Rockwell Automation, Magelis terminals from Schneider Electric, and Silver Series from Maple Systems. Computer based HMI solutions are also offered with mouse or touch screen interfaces such as RSView32 and RSViewSE from Rockwell Automation.

Industrial Controls Networking

The ability to gather field information and provide it to the operator in a timely, accurate manner is dependent upon the proper control networking scheme. We provide fast, reliable network schemes using such networks as Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Datahighway and Datahighway Plus, Modbus and Modbus Plus.  Most protocols are also available over fiber optic cables.

Electrical Design and Drafting

Our electrical engineering staff is here to meet your design and drafting needs. We provide detailed designs to meet recognized electrical standards and incorporate customer standards as required.

Control Panel Fabrication

After the electrical and panel design is complete, we're fully equipped to fabricate the panels we use on our projects as well as custom designed panels for any application our customers may encounter.
